New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) are causing havoc in our prisons, and are becoming increasingly problematic across our communities. Despite the introduction of the Psychoactive Substances Act, NPS use continues to be widespread. This interactive workshop will explore why NPS are such a phenomenon, the risks associated with them and the support available to reduce the use of these substances.
Hattie Moyes is the Research & Development Manager at RAPt. Hattie holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Southampton and an MSc in Forensic Psychology from the University of Surrey. Hattie has been working in the addiction field for over five years.
