Mary Curtis is an International Addiction Counsellor and Coach, and a renowned expert in the field of addiction and emotional wellness.
Mary was born and raised in Dublin and later settled in the U.S., where she trained extensively in the field of addiction and personal development. During her time in the U.S., she coached and empowered individuals, families, teams and organisations and held multiple leadership roles in both the addiction and corporate arenas.
Mary returned to Ireland in 2017 to lead the team at Smarmore Castle Private Clinic. She brings a wealth of knowledge and first-hand experience of progressive international treatment strategies to this pivotal role.
Mary is passionate about a model of integrated care that focuses on treating the whole-person; promoting the overall physical, mental, emotional, and social wellbeing of the individual. This approach emphasises the importance of developing the self-management skills and resilience required for long-term recovery.

Mary is an accredited International Addiction Counsellor, Myers-Briggs Facilitator, and NLP Practitioner. She has also trained in DBT Skills Facilitation, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Incident Reduction. Mary is An Associate member of the Addiction Counsellors of Ireland and a member of the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
