Kathleen O'Hara

International Psychotherapist and Author

Kathleen O’Hara MA, LPC is an international psychotherapist, author, consultant for the US Department of Justice and board member of Supporting Justice, in the UK. She was already a therapist when in 1999, her son Aaron was kidnapped and murdered. She wrote A Grief Like No Other, surviving the violent death of someone you love (Perseus 2006), a classic resource which has helped thousands of people cope with the devastating effects of Violent Death Trauma. Kathleen will be reflecting on where she is now in her recovery process and 20 years on what remains for her; the triggers and long-term consequences and her extensive clinical experience working with victims and survivors of VDT.
