Dr Flowers is one of the most familiar and respected names in the area of multidisciplinary chronic pain and addiction treatment, and functional restoration pain programmes in the United States. For more than 24 years, Dr Flowers has occupied an expert leadership position in the pain and addiction recovery field, and has used his experience and knowledge to develop a substantial number of pain recovery and addiction programmes within some of the most respected healthcare and addiction treatment centres in the country. He is fellowship trained in behavioural pain management and completed clinical rotations in behavioural pain management at The University of Washington, The Rosomoff Comprehensive Center for Pain, The University of Miami, and The Mayo Clinic. He is an adjunct professor at The University of Houston, Rice University and Sam Houston State University where he lectures on clinical pathology of pain, assessment of pain and clinical treatment of pain.
