High Watch was established in 1939 as the world’s first 12-Step treatment center. Since then, they have led thousands of adolescents, adults and families from the grip of alcohol and drug addiction to the freedom of recovery. They offer inpatient residential care, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient care with on-campus independent housing, family education, and intervention services. Located on a sprawling campus in rural Connecticut, High Watch also provides equine and other therapy on the farm it owns and operates.
